Gas Line Leak Repairs

Most homes use natural gas to operate water heaters and furnaces as well as kitchen appliances. We never really think about the lines that are buried underground or in the walls that deliver the gas to these appliances. Out of sight, out of mind right? Then one day Old Man Winter shows up and your heater doesn’t! Chances are that you may have a gas leak and will need immediate service. Hydrotek Pipe Services is equipped to make all gas repairs including line locating and leak detection. We are certified in CSST piping, Polyethylene butt and socket fusion.

Septic Systems (Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems)

In most cases septic system problems do not require that you replace the septic tank. The three primary components of a septic system are the external sewer line entering the tank, the septic tank and the disposal field. Occasionally you may have a distribution box to evenly distribute flow to multiple drainage fields or seepage pits, also know as dry wells. If you are experiencing septic system problems each of these components must be checked to isolate the problem. Proper trouble shooting is critical when diagnosing these Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) as total tank and system replacement costs can be staggering.

Proper, routine maintenance of  OWTS is essential to achieving optimal system performance as well as getting the longest possible system use. Routine tank pumping (done at least every 3-5 years) is the most important. In addition to tank pumping this should be immediately followed by disposal field cleaning and rejuvenation. Although you should be administering a bacteria culture digestant twice annually you should administer bacteria digestants immediately after septic tank pumping.

So if you experience Septic System problems or you simply need to have the systems “oil changed”  Hydrotek Pipe Services has all the necessary diagnostic equipment to deliver you an accurate diagnosis of your Septic System.

Trenchless Sewer Repair and Replacement

If you have re occurring sewer stoppages and its just that time where you have to consider replacement of the sewer utility discharge line you have several options. One in particular is the Trenchless procedure. Also known as “pipe bursting” trenchless sewer replacement is extremely effective in pipe replacement as well as insuring a minimally invasive procedure. Think of the Trenchless procedure as an arthroscopic surgical procedure versus a surgical incision. Hydrotek Pipe Services has the proper equipment to perform Pipe bursting/ Trenchless Sewer Replacement and I have performed hundreds of procedures for well over 25 years. We use SDR17- HDPE fused polyethylene pipe.  Trenchless procedures are typically finished within 2 days for most structures so your down time is significantly reduced. In most cases your yard and landscape will be put back together with little or no visible scarring.
